Good News. Padiham Greenway Bridge Is Finally Being Repaired

After months of persistent campaigning the damaged Greenway Bridge in Padiham is set to reopen this year.

After continuously raising the issue in Council, meeting Sustrans and the Coal Authority, Cllr McGowan has welcomed the announcement that the bridge is set to be finally reopened.

Jamie said: “This link is important for walkers, cyclists and families in Padiham and I’m pleased we’ve finally got movement after repeatedly pressing the authorities.”

Keep an eye out for updates as work progresses.
